1 minute or 1 hour? (How social media change our day).

 


It has been several months since I have been able to reach a result on how social networks have affected my life. I am one of those people who when I wake up immediately turn to my phone to check various platforms such as Tik Tok, Instagram, and more. In the beginning, I used to stay active for an average of half an hour, but now it's more than an hour. This makes me question if this affects my daily actions positively or not so much. 

Spending a lot of time on social networks helped me to improve my knowledge of topics I didn't know about, therefore, I liked it a lot. However, this turned into an addiction as I was not only seeing interesting things but now I was just sliding my finger on the screen until I felt I couldn't do it anymore and on non-relevant topics. After a long time, I knew how bad this was getting so I decided to try to change this by implementing new activities such as exercise, or waking up to meditate or do other things. 

Finally, I believe that implementing them is helping me to control my anxiety about being constantly on my cell phone. I'm sure it's something that happens to people who read this but try to find a way out by applying what I mentioned or finding your way. Because technology is changing our days, mostly in a bad way.
